So I am giving you that information by which you can port your mobile number to other telecom company very easily… for that you follow the below steps.
How to port mobile number from one network to another
Phase 1: Whichever mobile number you want to port, send PORT to 1900 from that number and after that send your mobile number. Example: send ‘PORT 98xxxxxxx’ to 1900.
Phase 2: When you send this message successfully, you will receive a message in which there will be a code which is called UPC i.e. Unique Porting Code. Which you have to give to the company in which you want to go to the new telecom company. That is, when you go to the shop with that new SIM, you will be asked for this UPC code.
Let us tell you that its validity is only 15 days and when you give this code and necessary documents (driving license, passport, aadhar card, voter ID, or PAN card) to the new company, then within 7 days you will be ported to the new company. is done.
You will be given a new SIM of the new company but your number will be the same as the old one.
As long as your new SIM is not activated, you can keep your old SIM in your mobile and it will continue to work properly and on the day it stops working, you can put your new SIM on that day. And this girl will now be your new sim with your old number.
There are some conditions for how to port the mobile number.
- Your sim should be 90 days old.
- You should not have kept any loan in the old SIM. If you are a post-paid customer, please ensure that you have paid all the dues as per your last bill.
- You can get the mobile number ported in your own circle.
- If you are a prepaid customer, please note that the talk time balance, if any, will get exhausted at the time of porting.
So in this way you can easily go to another company or get it ported while keeping your old mobile number.
